Pre-School and Pre-K Programs
The pre-school and pre-kindergarten programs focus on open-ended, theme-based projects, which are promoted by the child’s interest. These activities are teacher led and cover a wide range of events and experiences. The project-based curriculum focuses on skill development. Children will practice pre-reading, writing and math skills, social and emotional development, self-help, and communication skills.
In the pre-school and pre-kindergarten programs, teachers communicate with parents via the “Child’s Daily Notes” form. . The daily notes will include all of the educational material covered, the level of interest the child expressed, and suggestions for continuing the activity or topic at home.
